Doll bootees

Doll Bootees

I made these doll bootees to fit dolls with a 6.5cm foot.  I used as a basis this pattern from Repeat Crafter Me and adapted it to fit a much smaller foot. Below I have written my version of the pattern in UK crochet terms.

The yarn I used was Stylecraft Special DK in pomegranate and cream for one pair and sage and cream for the other pair.

Note: Always begin your rounds in the same stitch as your chain.
In rounds 2, 3, 10 & 11 you will end your rounds in the same stitch as your chain. So technically you will be adding an extra stitch to each round.

Chain 8, DC in 2nd chain from hook, DC in next 5, make 5 DC in the last chain
Now working on opposite side, DC 6, join, ch 2.
